Student Council

The ASB Student Council has been created to provide a democratic forum in which students can address school or community-related issues that affect their lives, to train students through instruction and experiences in the fundamentals of being leaders, to offer social function and community involvement projects for students, and to maintain communication between the student body, staff, and administrators. Students in this course serve as the decision making council for the entire school and oversee all athletic, extra-curricular, and social activities that involve the Millikan Student Body. Additionally, these students are charged with the fiscal management and oversight of all student funds, totaling over $600,000 each year. Serving as a Student Council member provides these students with unparalleled “real-life” experience that will serve them greatly in the future.
